Hi, I'm Madison!
I'm a year-round resident of Fair Haven and a proud teenager with a passion for my hometown and a dream to share it with others. I come from a family of entrepreneurs, so I’ve grown up knowing that big things can start with a simple idea, a little bit of savings, and a lot of heart.
In 2020, while visiting my grandmother, I saw these awesome water bikes in action and immediately thought, Why not bring this fun to Fair Haven? I pitched the idea to my parents, and after a full summer of testing, planning, and connecting with our amazing local business community—Fair Haven Water Bikes was born!
My goal is simple: to give people a unique and memorable way to enjoy the Bay I’m lucky to call home. I hope you have an incredible time pedaling the bay and soaking in the beauty that makes this place so special.

FAQ’s
How Long is the ride?
Check in is 30 minutes prior to your departure time. Your ride is 90 minutes long. Being late to the departure time will cut into your ride time.
Is it hard?
While our water bikes are human powered, the amount of effort required is entirely up to our riders. Whether you want to pedal quickly to maximize your workout or leisurely glide up the bay, you are in control of the speed and physical effort of your ride. Water bikes have a similar resistance to a single speed bicycle.
Are food and drinks allowed?
Yes! As long as it isn't too messy or alcoholic, go for it.
Is there storage onboard?
Each water bike is equipped with a dry storage box which will keep valuables such as car keys, cell phones, or wallets safe and dry. Larger items such as backpacks or bags are not recommended but can be stored in our storage locker when necessary.
What should I wear?
Dress appropriately for the weather and comfortable enough to ‘ride a bike’ in. Life vests are required; we will provide one for you or you can bring your own.
Bring:
• Sunscreen
• A Hat
• Water (stay hydrated!)
• Shoes/Sandals that tie/strap into place (so they will stay on your feet) that you don’t mind getting a bit wet
Is there a weight limit?
Yes, the weight capacity is 250 pounds.
Is there an age requirement?
Yes, minimum of 10 years old and must meet a minimum leg requirement of 28 inches.
Can my kids go on the bikes?
Though the bikes are not overly strenuous, all minors (under 18 years old) need to be accompanied by an adult (18+) and must meet the age minimum and leg height requirement.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, small pets will be allowed but must have a pet life vest and be able to sit on the pontoon platform while bike is in motion.
Can I cancel my booking?
Please note that once you have booked an appointment with us it means that we have reserved time in our schedule exclusively for you. If you cancel your appointment less than 48 hours before it is scheduled to take place, you will not be entitled to a refund. To avoid this, please provide cancellation notice at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. You can cancel or reschedule an appointment by emailing us at FHWaterBikes@gmail.com.
Where are you located?
